Pioneer Day Parade in Ogden

These rogue cowboys were shooting their guns in the air. Really loud..Got the kids attention.

Loved seeing the missionaries walk down the street singing the Battle Hymn of Republic.

We headed to Ogden for Pioneer Day. We all went to the parade down Washington. Very long parade and really hot. The kids were bored. They loved that we were able to set off fireworks again this month. We even went to watch them from someone's house on the hill. What an awesome view! Sorry did not take pictures of that.

We went to the Pioneer Parade in St Anthony. You got to love the Pioneer parades. Missed L in primary class today.

Here is my lotion that I made today. I made about 9 bottles today. I gave away some bottles to a neighbor down the street. Brayden and Lyndee already claimed theirs.. I made Pomegranate, Blackberry Fizz (yes Erica that is your new favorite), Bath and body country apple, Burt Bee's Buttermilk, and for the kids..Root Beer. I really like my lotion because I know what is in it. I also save money. I dont have to visit Bath and Body or Victoria's Secret. I also add some silk protein to help make my skin softer and it works better than the stuff you buy at the stores. Now I get to enjoy my lotions and not have dry skin..yea for us. My little moments

I love my little moments of quiet when I can watch them peacefully dream. My son Brayden has always had a creative imagination. We have to be careful to what we watch because he freaks out and gets scared very easily. Clay was watching the new show V and Brayden was downstairs with him playing with his new cars. I tell him that he needs to come to bed. He grabs my leg and holds on tight all the way up the stairs and tells me he is scared. Then I can't leave his side when he uses the restroom. I tuck him in and he covers his head with the blankets. I have to burrow his face out so he can breathe. That is what you see above. Lyndee is such a little cutie! She loves the color pink. Under neath the fleece throw is pinkness. She said she did not want black on her bed and I told her that she needed to be warm so this is it! Her room is the coldest and I feel for her. My little one does not sleep a full deep sleep at night enough as it is. Very light sleeper! Okay..so .I told my hus...

Heading home!

This was outside of Praire city after coming out of a mountainy forest pass. This was in Vale. I love these murals. On the way home, there were tons of onion fields outside of Ontario. Yum! It made me so hungry for a hamburger or fajita. Then we went by a mint field. The fresh smell of mint....Ahhh. How awesome that was!
