My feelings.

Image
I came across this print in Pinterest. It reads: Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, but with great purpose in heart. As I read that quote, I thought I can have twinkling eyes and a smile..but what is my great purpose?  I came across a circumstance this week on Facebook that really made me upset. It happened on Wednesday, and here I am still upset. I shouldn't be upset. It was not directed toward but I feel that it took a little bit of my spirit away and made me judge another. I feel guilty that I had judgmental feelings.  I am still upset by it...not by my feelings but that the person who made the comment got other people riled up. Those people were riled up and felt angry and then they too judged. It was a vicious cycle. So..I am stepping back, limiting my time on facebook,  and now I am thinking...what is going on with people? Maybe it is my level of maturity (I do have that at certain times) or maybe it is the ...

Pulling together

Today was another Sunday and another struggle for our little fam. We were reluctant to go because of the weather and exhaustion. My son did not want to go to church and that really upset me. We were having a real rough morning of screaming and stomping. Ever experience that? I am sure I am not alone. Anyways, I felt as we were being pulled to church for some reason. She awoke me from my deep thoughts of my bad morning and this is part of what I read... ...........This was one of many times when the Saints would pull together, heeding the admonit...

Primary program was today

Today was Brayden and Lyndee's first primary program. Last year, I admit that we stayed home due to the fact that Brayden was known for tantrums and did not like his sunbeam class as we were new to the ward and still adjusting to our life in Idaho. This year was supposed to be different as Lyndee would be up there as a sunbeam and Brayden a CTR 5. We went to the practice and even endured practicing the songs with the kids in the van. The kids were so excited about being "higher" up than us in the chapel. We went into the chapel and even sat closer to the front (on the soft seats) as we always hide in the back so we can't be heard. Then as sacrament was passed and the little ones were called up, my little ones went so eagarly. I was elated! Then the extremely loud crying began. I thought to myself...please do not let it be. It was.. I was so disappointed in her. I snatched her up and brought her back to sit with us with Brayden following. She calmed down after like ...
