Rexburg Parade

Before...anxiously awaiting the arrival of the sugar bugs
Cute horses...I loved how they did a huge circle in the intersection..but did not like what they left behind.

Uh....he went off and collected more sugar..

She was getting handfuls of candy at times. Don't ask me why she is only wearing one gardening glove. We just tell people that it is in honor of MJ.

We have never been to this parade, but we will keep the tradition of going each year. I miss these kind of hometown parades. We left at 9:10 and headed up to Rexburg. We parked on the street above Walgreen's and then walked down and sat at the intersection where the parade starts. I loved this spot for the kids. My kids were crazy for candy and even my nephew got a bunch..Brayden was getting alittle worn out and will probably sleep great tonight...The parade...I really enjoyed it.

Lyndee Highlights: I try to keep her grounded and near me but she has a little mind of her own. I swear I do my best...but....She went up to the truck to get a little red frisbee that they were handing out and got caught in the middle of the briefcase dancers. This is the funniest moment...she was chasing the dog (stuffed animal) that was stuck to a guy's pant leg and he was acting like it was biting him...Gotta love her! She ate tons of candy and warm chocolate milk. We went to Gringo's after and she threw up..in cup..no mess there!

Cool fly-bye!

Star wars thing...

Hope you had an awesome 4th.. I love America!

We went to Rexburg also, but we were at the end of the parade by Porter Park. It was fun, but long! I have a grumpy husband when it comes to parades and his parents came with us and they wanted to leave too. Oh well! Glad you guys had a good time!
Do the beginning of the parade next year like we did this year. I think that was the best...We will definitely do that again!
