Spud Day Parade

Last Saturday, we headed down to Shelley and watched the Spud Day Parade. It was about an hour long. The kids and husband got plenty of candy.

Here is my lotion that I made today. I made about 9 bottles today. I gave away some bottles to a neighbor down the street. Brayden and Lyndee already claimed theirs.. I made Pomegranate, Blackberry Fizz (yes Erica that is your new favorite), Bath and body country apple, Burt Bee's Buttermilk, and for the kids..Root Beer. I really like my lotion because I know what is in it. I also save money. I dont have to visit Bath and Body or Victoria's Secret. I also add some silk protein to help make my skin softer and it works better than the stuff you buy at the stores. Now I get to enjoy my lotions and not have dry skin..yea for us. Valentine's Day Stuff

Clay brought me some flowers on Friday. Yes, I was very surprised. I didn't think he was going to do anything for V-day. After being married for 14 years, at times I don't care about all that kind of stuff. I just want to be appreciated every day not just on the special days. It was a nice way to end the week though. We all went out for dinner on Friday night. Then we had to stop and buy Lyndee a new coat because her 14.99 Cal ranch special was a piece of crap and the zipper broke. Oh well! Good thing the coats at Fred Meyer were 60% off of half price. We bought her a nice coat for 8 bucks. Wished they had a bigger size but we will need to buy again next year. Then afterwards, we walked by the baked goods and were very tempted by all the sweets and we let kids pick out some yumminess.

My little moments

I love my little moments of quiet when I can watch them peacefully dream. My son Brayden has always had a creative imagination. We have to be careful to what we watch because he freaks out and gets scared very easily. Clay was watching the new show V and Brayden was downstairs with him playing with his new cars. I tell him that he needs to come to bed. He grabs my leg and holds on tight all the way up the stairs and tells me he is scared. Then I can't leave his side when he uses the restroom. I tuck him in and he covers his head with the blankets. I have to burrow his face out so he can breathe. That is what you see above. Lyndee is such a little cutie! She loves the color pink. Under neath the fleece throw is pinkness. She said she did not want black on her bed and I told her that she needed to be warm so this is it! Her room is the coldest and I feel for her. My little one does not sleep a full deep sleep at night enough as it is. Very light sleeper! Okay..so .I told my hus...
