Ouch!

I got a call from her babysitter after school today saying that L had a cut on her leg and that she might need stitches. She accidentally scraped it on a screw on a playground set. As soon as I got the call, I said that I would be there in a couple of minutes. Usually it is hard to get B out the door because he is with his friend in another classroom. I told him that his sister cut his leg and he was out the door lickety split. Then we arrived and picked her up. L was fine and it wasn't that bad. She was calm and in good spirits and that made me calm when I arrived as I kind of panicked on the way home to my mom. While I was chit chatting with the babysitter, Sister Lou snuck out with her little friend and went and jumped over on a tramp in a neighbor's yard.

Although the picture looks bad, it really isn't. It is not her bum..but below it. She will have a scar. When we got home, I had her put her jammies on. Then B got his jammies on and asked if they could watch a movie downstairs. He then asked his sister if she would like to watch a girlie or Christmas movie. She told him a girlie one and he picked it out for her and helped. What a great brother he was being today and taking extra care with her! Made my heart melt into a pile of goo. I love brotherly and sisterly love. He said that he knew just the one for her, picked out the Barbie Nutcracker movie, and laid down on the couch to watch it with her. He did not go outside to play with his friends and continued to be such a great brother. L was well taken care of tonight and spoiled with love. But you can never be spoiled too much with love.
