Meet my Scout

At the beginnning of the school year, a flyer came out about signing your boy up for a community Tiger Scouts. My co teacher at school and I decided to sign both of our boys up for it since our church starts at Wolves. We went to the community meeting and they asked for volunteers. I whispered to her, "Let's volunteer to be the den leaders so we have control of what they do and where." I am also his den leader as well. We meet on Thursday nights at 7pm at a church by the high school with 10 other boys. Cant you tell how excited he is!!! We'll I am just as excited to..So there to me, back to my yellow shirt.

We were super excited that he gets to wear his Cub Scout gear as well. We bought him his cool shirt at the scout office, his patches, book, and belt. He is almost ready to earn his Bobcat so he will have his first patch...We are so proud of him.

I really love the concept of scouts and what they stand for! And I am glad that I only have to do this for 9 more months until he is a wolf.

That's awesome Ang! I think it's great that you love scouting so much. It's so much easier and doesn't feel like such a chore when you have your own son in there. I hope you both have a fun time these next 9 months! :)
