Lyndee turns SEvEn
Yes, the last day of the year is a special day. Lyndee's birthday!! We didn't have a birthday party yet for her since the holidays were very hectic. Hopefully, we can do something for her in the next couple of weeks. She informed me that she wanted to either have a hello kitty party or an earring party..Not sure what she meant by that but I think we will go with that theme and invite a couple girls from her class over. Can't wait.. She was happy as a clam on her birthday.
After spending the day together, we had her auntie, uncle, and cousin come over for her faves dinner: chicken nuggets and mac n cheese. I was able to talk her out of top ramen for the sake of everyone.
She wanted a chocolate cake with white frosting. I thought I would do polka dots but they looked like buttons. Doesn't matter. it was yummy anyways...
Here is her matching outfit with her doll. And our dog,Merlin. He likes to be in all the pictures because he follows me EveryWhere!
Since her birthday is on New Year's Eve, we let the kids stay up to ring in the new year. When it was close to midnight, we put our robes on and lit some fireworks.
Clayton lit the fireworks. We stood and watched. Then the kids did some party poppers. Birds will be happy because we gave them some paper to make nests.
