What happened to November?

Last time I checked, it was my son's birthday and then his celebration with his friends at Blast Off. At the beginning of the month, for FHE I had all of us write what we were thankful for OR where we saw the hand of GOD in our lives. Each person had their own color. We were supposed to do this every day but we got behind. The kids got the point and so did I. I can't do daily things.
We went to a baptism of a teenager this month on the same day that we took the boys to Blast Off. I made these yummy cookies. They really aren't cookies. They are crescent rolls rolled out with COOKIE butter schmeared on them. Then I rolled them up, chilled them, and then cut them. Then I made a glaze to go over them. They were yummy.
Molly is now 9 months old. Ain't she a cutie? We decided that we are going breed her as soon as we get a male shih tzu which will not happen until later in 2014. I also got dismissed from teaching 14 and 15 year old boys. At first, I was a little upset but now I am relieved and happy that I do not have to do any teaching on the weekend. After all, I DO have two jobs that involve teaching.

Now we just had Thanksgiving. It was a no stress holiday for us. We had turkey dinner over at my brother's house. All I had to do was the pie, rolls, and bring a can of cranberry sauce. It was easy peasy. We enjoyed our break.  This was a picture of my contribution. Isn't it grand?

Now onto December, on Wednesday, I decided that we needed to do an advent calendar with little mini presents each day. My intention was to wrap each gift for Brayden and Lyndee. However, I included two of things in each. The envelopes that are red have memory making moments in them such as indoor picnic by the tree OR hot chocolate with the fixings. I think that those will mean more than the presents of candy and cheap dollar tree crap. Anyways, it is a daily thing. However, I doubt I will have a hard time being reminded to do it. After all, it is PRESENTS and fun THINGS.
