December Highlights, again
Yes, we had two trees. It was my intention to have all of the Christmas crap under one tree but I was voted down. One present was too heavy to heave downstairs. Christmas was a great time. My parents came and spend a couple days with us. I got a small cold but it was quickly doused out my essential oils. The kids had a great time as well playing with their presents. One thing they loved is getting their own little tablet from my parents. It was a great buy and they have taken care of them so far.
The cat was a little freaked out by all this craziness. :)
Christmas dinner table set. Eric, Erica, and Tyler came over for dinner as well. It was a delicious ham dinner with yummy scalloped potatoes. Then I made a pistachio pudding dessert. It was all good.
Yup there is more down here. I received this cute picture from a friend. It goes along with the Forgotten Carols song, "Mary Let Me Hold her Baby." It was nice to receive a gift that wasn't food but reminded me of the Savior's birth. That is what Christmas is about and we remember it all up until everyone wants this and that and it just ruins the whole Christmas season and leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth of Christmas. Next Christmas will be better and less presents, right?
