Lasagna Roll ups

Image
I started wasting my time on pinterest looking up recipes, class stuff, and much more. I came across this recipe for chicken and cheese lasagna roll ups. Of course, their picture is always so much better. Here is the link to the recipe for this . This recipe has potential and needs flavor. I would forgo the chicken and do ground meat, cheese, and mix it with some type of spaghetti sauce. Then roll them up and top with some cheese.  However, the whole family did eat it up.

My cutie patootie is attempting his first year playing flag football. At practice,  it looks like he is going to really like it. His first game is this Saturday. More pictures then.

Yesterday, we went up into the mountains and picked some huckleberries. We meaning I made sure that I did not lose track of our vehicle. We picked about 2 cups. As nice as it was to get some fresh air and take in the beautiful land, the kids were not into picking but bickering. So we came home and took the kids to the fairgrounds where there was a car show. We looked at a couple old cars. Then saw the fire dept giving rides in their cherry picker. I don't what it is called. They went right up in it and then threw candy down upon our heads. Then as we left, Brayden and Lyndee wanted to climb the rock and press the button at the top. Yay! He made it and the Army dude said, "Just like a ranger!!" Please don't get any ideas, Brayden. Then Lyndee wanted to try and she did. That is as far as she got..and then she came down. Way to do your best!

So randomly as we were shopping, I ask Lyndee if she would like to get her ears pierced. I told her that my mommy took me to get my ears pierced before I started first grade. Usually,  Lyndee tells me no. But this time I got an excited YES! I said, "Are you sure?"  Lyndee replied, "Yes, mommy!" So off we skipped to Claire's (well not really). She picked out pink daisies that were made of white gold. The gals there both shot her ears at the same time and all Lyndee could say was "ow". And then that was it. She later told me that she was a very brave girl. Ya, they were NOT the pink daisies Lyndee picked but blue daisies. The gal made a mistake. We were looking at the birthstone ones. She must have thought to do the blue daisies as it matched her birthstone anyways. We totally told her pink daisies and I have three witnesses too! Wished she would have not have charged us but she had to and Lyndee was still excited for the earrings. She loves

Last week, cuz we really needed to get out of town to do some school shopping, we went down to Utah and the big city. We were supposed to go camping at Bear Lake but hello, I don't do camping on my birthday or where there might possibly be no shade. We left on my birthday and we took the kids to Boondocks. Best fun I have ever had in a long time.        Lyndee had the best time spraying EVERYONE. I was hoping they would get her back.  Below is the best virtual roller coaster EVER! Clay and I were looking to quickly waste the credits that we built up. We actually went on this before the kids. IT was awesome. The kids loved it and did it a couple times. I have video of them totally mesmerized by it. Then we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. We have always wanted to try it and there were no lines. It was alright. I told Clay next time we are trying breakfast cuz the dinner menu was not too fancy schmancy. All of the Marriotts were booked and some other hotels that I liked too. SO

Might I interrupt you for a couple cool sunset phots

Last week, I turned 38. Yes, I am 38 years old and I don't care. I don't act my age. I decided that maybe I should be more young at heart. Anyways.. I still  hate birthdays (only mine of course) but I had spirits lifted when some gals from my church came over to wish me a happy birthday. That was real nice since sometimes I feel so lonely and isolated here in the country...  I don't know why I hate getting older. I think 60 gray hairs popped out of my skull when it was my birthday. I know totally random... I was thinking of doing a top 10 list of things that I like/love/enjoy but since I turned 38, 38 things would be appropriate. Oh, they are not in any specific order. 1. Chips and Salsa (preferably homemade) 2. Sleeping in 3. Kids sleeping in 4. Church songs (not tabernacle stuff but contemporary artists) 5. Ice cold coca cola 6. Fresh rain smell 7. Sunsets with oranges, pinks, and purples 8. Brayden (my best boy) 9. Lyndee (my best girl) 10. Clay (husband) 11.
