Taunting Cat

Image
This is our cat. It is a year old black long-haired cat. His name is Sunnyside. We have been putting him outside during the day while we are at school. He loves it so much that he teases and taunts the dogs in the backyard. He will sit on the outside of the fence and tease the dogs silently. The dogs will bark at him constantly. He will then switch to another area where he can tease them even more.

Melting...

When snow melts, it leaves mud. A lot of mud. Last week, we went over to my brother's house. Lyndee fell in the mud just as she hopped out of Clay's car. She never sits on that side of the car so she didn't know that she would land straight in mud. So we left her outside and Brayden and their cousin stayed outside to play with her.Well, after about 10 minutes, my brother spotted Lyndee and Brayden in mud puddles. They were almost covered in mud. Awesome, huh? I am so happy with myself that I didn't even get mad at them. I laid some newspapers down in Clay's car. Then as we were driving home, I told Brayden he should rub it all over his face since people pay to take mud baths. He said, "Serious?" I told him to go ahead and he did. Here are a couple snapshots of their dirty mugs.

Rambling.

Tantrums. Kicking seats. Pretending to leave. Star Charts. Angry. Sadness. Happy dances. Tears. Hitting head against wall, couch, floor. Dog pee on floor.  Winds. Frustration. Surprises. Leaving checkbook at home while trying to buy groceries. Sadness again. Scout banquet. Tiredness. Exhaustion. Piano lesson. Piano practice. Dog doo accident on floor. Bedtimes. Baths. Tantrums. Giggles. Family time. More Giggles. Hugs. Prayers. Today, I sit with my family at Cafe Rio before seeing my only favorite Dr. Seuss book/movie: The Lorax.  Brayden has green hair from yesterday's crazy hair. Lyndee has one pink spot still visible.  Lyndee giggles. Brayden shares chicken nachos with his dad. I share my burrito with Clayton. Lyndee eats her own chicken taco and chips.  Lyndee just refills her own drink by herself. She is not going to need me any more soon. These days are going by. Brayden sips his drink more. He and I are struggling right now and all we are doing is butting heads. But...now.
