Darby Wind Cave Hike
Last week, we went up to Driggs and hiked up Darby Canyon on a trail that was about 5-6 miles. Yes, I hiked. It nearly killed me because I am so out of shape. I would do it again if I had more water. We were stupid and didn't have enough water. It is all up hill to the caves. We actually didn't go into the caves but the waterfall was enough for us. I think it was probably a 100 feet or more but it was muddy and there were too many people there. This is about 4-5 hour hike in its entirety. We start low and then start making our way up switchbacks. The view is absolutely beautiful and we were so grateful that we were able to spend the day as a family with no technologies. See that water fall in the distance...Yup, it the one that is below. We hiked around to it. This waterfall was a treat. It was cold in the cave that had it. The wind from the rush water was delightful.
