Fishing

Image
Last week my parents were in town for my nephew's birthday. The kids wanted to go fishing. Clayton got a fishing licenses and we dusted off our fishing poles and went fishing. I wanted to go up towards Ashton at Warm River but we had a late start. We went out to check Ririe Resivoir. I have never been at the lake. We have driven out to see it but that's about all. I would say that we needed a boat and life jackets. Cause it wasn't fun fishing off the dock and I was scared that my kids didn't have life jackets. Needless to say we lasted about 20 minutes. That's  my nephew, in case you are wondering. He turned 11.

Our Deck

We have been in our house for 5 years now. We are not what you call handy people. It is not that we are lazy. It just doesn't come natural to us in thought and skill. We saw online about this stuff called Restore at Home Depot. Our deck has been looking really sad and needed some stain. We researched over the internet. Most people were satisfied. Then our neighbor did it as well. So we thought why not. We get the west sun and it gets hot. We thought we would go lighter. It came to my mind if we could solid stain our railing white and then do a gray on the bottom. The colors were nice. We are not quite finished. We underestimated how much we needed. We need 1 more gallon to do the job and at 33 dollars a pop for a gallon. We are waiting until pay day. I took plenty pictures of the railing and just one picture of the deck floor. I think it looks great.

Rainy picture

The day after I hurt my back, I had to drive into town and take Lyndee to the doctor. After a wasteful trip to the doctor and more time to wait for what I want for Lyndee, we sat out on the porch and watched the rain and took some pictures from Instagram. Now all I need to do is figure out to make them bigger and not soo blurry.

4th of July picture

Just in case you were wondering, I am alive and kicking. On the fourth, I chose to let the kids sleep in instead of going to the parade. They vegged all day and even Brayden said he was sick of fetching candy and its really not that fun. Well that made me feel better that I did have to have him endure another parade. After husband got off work, we spent the fourth of July at my brother's house. We had dinner and fireworks. It was a nice day to celebrate our country's birthday. . That day, I messed up my back something fierce. How did I do that you ask? I was putting my pants on and I angered something in my lower middle back.  I couldn't sit or lie down unless I wanted to be in pain. Ice and motrin were my two best friends for about a week.
