Jenny Lake Day Trip
I saw some post hiking around the lake. It looked cool to me but my children were not wanting to hike around it. I kind of ruined hiking with the last long hike and huckleberry picking in the forest. So we decided that we would only hike a mile but take a ferry across the lake to the Hidden Falls. It was only half a mile up and half a mile back. You can go another half mile to the Inspiration Point but we chose not to do it. First, you have to pay $25 to get into the park which lasts 7 days. Where is the 3 hour pass? I did ask. Then to walk around the lake is free but if you want to take the ferry. It is 15 for each adult and 9 for each child round trip.Not too bad if you did not take a huge vacation this summer. I would do this again in a heartbeat. I love it up there. It was cloudy and sprinkling. However, the clouds moved over so I could take a picture of the Tetons. The kids loved the ferry boat ride.
