Our FOURTH of JULY...
Our Fourth of July started out with a super hot parade that lasted 2 hours. Clay and I both received sunburns and the kids received lots of candy that was mysteriously thrown away a week later. Like they really even noticed. :)) We love parades. The float below was my favorite. It has a replica of the Rexburg temple next to the "hill". I loved the quote! The daughter of my bestie from Arizona was handing things out for her dad's restaurant. I had to get a picture of her. She has grown so much and reminds me so much of Bobbie.
After the parade, we went to the lake with my nephew Tyler, Eric, and Erica. Got to tell you this, but this is the first time going there to go in the water. During the week, I bought them some life jackets but enough is enough. They need to go there and have some fun. Well, they did. They loved it! I loved it for them so we will go again real soon.
After the lake, we had our own dinners at our house but dessert and fireworks were at Eric's house. It was fun but exhausting! After the fourth, we had one more day to prepare for our together vacation which was a first.
