Somewhere between July and August

Our stake puts on an awesome pioneer day celebration. We stayed until they kicked us out. :) They had a bucking bronco. Brayden did not even go on but Lyndee did. They had pony rides. Brayden ditched us and went with his cool friends. It is okay. We had a wonderful time watching Lyndee and talking to friends.

Then a week or so after that, we went to the open house of the Ogden temple. It was such a beautiful place. So much prettier that it was before. The Ogden people are lucky to have such a beautiful monument in their downtown area. We loved going through it and seeing how pretty it was.

This is Clayton's mom. Doesn't she look thrilled to be with us? It does not matter though. We still love coming down especially to shop. :)

While we were there, we went shoe shopping. Lyndee's shoes last about a month or two before we went and got different ones. Brayden is still wearing his and will need new ones soon. He has smelly feet. Don't tell him that I said that. Ha ha!

Then we stayed at a Days Inn so the kids could swim some more since they didn't swim enough at our home. I was really tired and so glad that the kids saw a turd floating in the pool and quickly evacuated the scene. All I could think of is Caddyshack with the candy bar floating in a public pool.
